2. Payment Security

All transactions are processed through an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection. Your data is fully protected throughout the entire payment process. Elaine Hart London will never ask for your card or bank account details by email or telephone.

3. Payment & Order Processing

Orders are only processed once payment has been successfully confirmed. If a transaction fails or is cancelled, the order will not be registered or dispatched. In cases where fraud or payment errors are suspected, a payment may be automatically held pending verification. Elaine Hart London reserves the right to cancel any order where payment cannot be verified.

4. Refunds

In the event of an approved return, a refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item — in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

Please note the following:

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error on our part or a faulty item under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.
Items must be returned in their original condition — unworn, unwashed, with all tags still attached and in original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if these conditions are not met.
